Leadership Development Series

The Basic Summer Business Camp is the entry point into the year round Youth About Business Leadership Development Program. Please refer to our
Summer Programming page for further details. Upon your completion of the camp, students are invited to attend our monthly Leadership Development meetings covering a variety of financial topics to continue to expand the student's business and financial knowledge. Senior level executives are invited to the meetings on a quarterly basis.

Leadership Team

Students who excel during the camp are offered leadership opportunities for next year's camp. The infrastructure of the Summer Business Camp is constructed and executed by our youth leaders. This opportunity includes helping to build camp guidelines, promote membership in local high schools, organize the annual Wall Street Conference, and many other duties that are necessary for making the camp successful. The application process takes place in the fall, and the leadership team receives special training during the remote Leadership Retreat in December.

Parent Support Group

There are many ways that parents can help insure the success of our business-training program. There are chaperone opportunities as well as volunteer areas where parents can teach a group of our future business leaders based on their personal careers. Though most of the volunteer opportunities are free, when we travel we do have to charge those parents that agree to go on these trips with us. Volunteer opportunities for this year include:

  • Annual Awards Banquets
  • Summer Business Camp Overnight Stay
  • Wall Street Trip Parents Chaperones
